Phone altitude is influenced by satellite geometry, signal conditions, device sensors, and the surrounding environment. Crestline shows measurement accuracy and signal state so you can distinguish a current reading from a weak or outdated one. It is a recreational field tool, not a surveying, aviation, emergency, or certified measurement instrument.

Open iOS Settings, choose Privacy & Security, then Location Services, Crestline, and select While Using the App. For the best location and true-north experience, enable Precise Location. Return to Crestline and the app will check the permission again.

Magnetic north follows the Earth's magnetic field. True north is geographic north and depends on location information. If location access is unavailable, Crestline can fall back to magnetic north when the device supports it.

No. Precise coordinates are off by default. You can review the preview and turn them on for an individual export. Crestline's share export is designed not to include GPS or EXIF metadata.

Crestline keeps the current edit available so you can check Photos permission or free storage and try again. Saving to Photos and adding a photo to a Crestline record are separate actions with separate completion results.

Open the record, choose its actions menu, and select Delete Record. Crestline asks for confirmation before removing the record and its App-managed media. A photo separately saved to your Photos library remains under your control in Photos.

Open Crestline Settings, choose Crestline Plus, then Restore Purchases. Use the Apple Account that originally completed the purchase. Apple handles the transaction; Crestline refreshes the entitlement after verification.
